A flashback where sound and image become weapon and witness, responding to a personal and collective urge for liberation and mutation of rancor. This is subliminal journey through the South, defending the uncomfortable history of indiscipline, the archival madness of an entire continent's memory made flesh.
Associations and collisions: fire with religion, violence with mysticism, animals with humans. An audiovisual gesture where the pastiche of contrasts acts as identity claim. A metanarrative digging through excess. Mutant gossip, insistent on striking, with and by its own history.
Commissioned by Mira, the vision of Lechuga Zafiro and Verraco will be brought to life by PROXIMA, in collaboration with visual artists Cayequitas and Chepe. A full-on LATAM collision, a 60-minute AV show that cuts through unprecedented territories.
